Our good friend and colleague reporter Ruben Galvan from the San Diego 6 CW announced that he will be leaving San Diego to pursue other career opportunities.  We are so sad to see him go! We love Ruben!! He has been a personal friend of mine since I moved to San Diego 7 years ago so it’s a little bitter/sweet for me. However I am extremely happy for him and know he will go on to do big things! As a good bye he is going around town to his “favorite places” in San Diego and one of them was here in the Channel 933 Studios this morning. We are honored to be part of his farewell tour and we know he will go on to do great things! We love you Ruben! Thanks for stopping by this morning! xoxo

My cousin Christine introduced me to them and she is obsessed with them! She texted me all these pictures of her new bracelets…and yes she has like 10 of them! She says the ones above can be paired with coral shirts and coral lips! And the white one is for mix and match! LOL….I love my cousin!

So a little while back I got a celebrity oxygen facial at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Rock Spa and the esthetician Jessica gave me some great advice! She said that most people’s problem with face products is not that they are using the wrong ones but that they are not putting them on right.  Here are her easy tips! 

Skin Care:

This is the order we are supposed to put on our face products daily

1) Cleanse with a GEL cleanser. If you have the Clarisonic use it!  Most importantly look for a cleanser that is Gel-like (aka you can see through it).

2) Tone- Appply toner.  You don’t have to do it daily depending on how dry your skin gets as toner will dry it out a bit. 

3) Treat (Apply serum- any kind is fine)

4) Hydrate (Apply your Moisturizer)  When you are looking for a moisturizer make sure the majority of the words on the product say HYDRATE rather than moisturize.

5) Apply eye cream (make sure it’s a gel cream) 

6) Apply Sunblock! (SPF 30 uva)

After you do all this THEN you apply your make-up!

Random Tips:

Look for products that are hydrating or for dehydrated skintypes

Apply products while skin is still kind of damp

Exfoliate 2-3 times a week with a microbead scrub.

Yes, today is my birthday and Frankie and San Diego Steve brought in this cake for me this morning.  Thank you guys!!

This past Sunday was the San Diego Art Walk in Little Italy. Here I am with my friend Jessica.

The streets were packed with people enjoying great food, entertainment, and art.

Little Italy is such a fun place to spend your Sunday. There are many shops and boutiques.

The day was beautiful and gorgeous, as it usually is in San Diego.

I enjoyed a tasty treat! Sunday is cheat day so it’s ok!

We stopped by my friends store, The Shopaholics Boutique! Here is my boyfriend I and trying to be mannequins.

The mannequins were all done up, hair, makeup, and styled!

I had a great time at Art Walk! I can’t wait until the next one!
