GEENA THE LATINA is one of San Diego’s newest on-air personality on Channel 933. Her fresh and fun loving personality keeps people listening while her laugh is nothing but contagious. Most importantly, she’s a woman who doesn’t skip a beat when it comes to entertainment.
“Geena the Latina” is the female co-host on the highly rated AJ’s Playhouse morning show (weekdays 6:00am-10:00am). On top of being the female voice of the show as well as bringing Hollywood red carpet interviews to San Diego, her daily Hollywood gossip segment “Geena’s Big Scoop” has quickly become a main source of entertainment news in San Diego (daily at 6:20am, 7:20am, and 8:20am). You can also hear the “Big Scoop” daily at 6:20pm on the Boy Toy Jesse Show (3:00pm-7:00pm). Geena pulls double duty working at 102.7 KIIS-FM Los Angeles on the Friday Night Party Show (weekly from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m).
Prior to San Diego, “Geena the Latina” covered red carpet premieres, awards shows and exclusive parties in Southern California for 102.7 KIIS FM’s JoJo on the Radio Show (weeknights 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). She also filed live reports for On-Air with Ryan Seacrest (5:00-10:00am) and the Valentine Show (syndicated, 3:00-7:00pm).
“Geena the Latina” received her break at KIIS-FM as a street team member in 2001. She produced and hosted live remotes. Her growing popularity among the station’s listeners prompted KIIS to hire Geena as a permanent fixture on the JoJo on the Radio Show.
Geena’s job as the female morning show co-host and entertainment correspondent doesn’t end with radio. Geena is a multi-media correspondent. She not only reports for LAXLARGE, an L.A.T.V. show (Thursdays 11:00-11:30pm), she also has her very own column on Rego Magazine, a quarterly publication targeting Latino college male students.
Geena graduated from Loyola Marymount University, where she was the founding chapter president of the Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority.

A. Right now, Making the Band 3 and the Gauntlet...who knows what it'll be next month though.

A. The guy from baywatch...David Hasselhoff! Hahaha, he knew who I was!

A. Sleeping.

A. At someone's house with close friends...chatting and drinking.

A. Yeah...I'm sure I have...who hasn't? Although I don't make lying a habit.

A. Valentine's Day...although I've never really had a "real" Valentine's date.
